Welcome to JenDen Photography

Much of what we do at JenDen photography is for commercial business and advertising use. As such, we are always looking for models to work with.

No experience or special training is needed, nor do you need to fit the 'super-model' stereo-type. All that is typically required is a neat, well groomed appearance. Dress will depend on what type of shooting you are participating in, and will be discussed well before the shooting session, but can range from business suit-and-tie to swimwear.

Location of shooting will also depend largely on the particular session. Most model shoots are performed in studio, but some may be on location in the community.


WHAT TO EXPECT You will be asked to pose for multiple shots; most will have a theme or message(for example, buckling a seatbelt or talking on a phone). Most poses will be shot from several angles, different lighting setups, etc. Sugestions,ideas and/or questions are always welcome before, during and after a shoot. Most sessions are approximately two hours long. It is typically one to two weeks after a shoot before any images are available for viewing or printing. Bringing a friend along is encouraged, it frequently reduces nervousness resulting in better images. Our attitude is relaxed and non-formal; we try to have a lot of fun with our work; but professionalism is maintained at all times.	BENEFITS Build a professional portfolio - especially useful if you are pursuing a career in modeling or acting. Free prints (or CD) from your session - can include requested poses in addition to commercial work. Discounts on future portrait work - We currently offer all our models a generous 25% discount off of our already reasonable portrait rates. Royalty free license to use or reproduce images from shoot - For personal use or self-promotional use - resale prohibited of course. Other benefits may be offered from time to time depending on your abilities and our needs. Shooting sessions are not typically financially compensated, but previous models may be offered paid sessions on occasion.	REQUIREMENTS Signed model release and picture identification -form will be provided but can be reviewed here. Minors must also have their release signed by a parent or guardian A camera friendly personality - Being camera shy is not a good thing here! Clothing must not contain any visible company logos, trademarks, or copywritten artwork. Prominently visible tattoos will prevent us from selecting you. We are sorry for this, but its a legal thing - the artwork in a tattoo is copywritten by the tattoo artist. Other questions? Give us a call!
